Star-Dust of
Love
by Roger W Hancock
When you wish upon a star,
send that wish upon a prayer.
Prayer rides the light of God,
without, cannot, a wish go far.
Empty is a wish on stardust,
faithful prayer, a certain must.
Bow on knees and look to God,
in your prayer believe and trust.
Send upon Christ’s light of love,
fears and tears are heard above.
Confide secrets with Father God,
Send your prayer on Jesus’ dove.
Alter your plea on heaven’s star,
pray, trust on heaven's stardust.
Prayer, a simple talk to God,
stars’ love-dust to seek His love.
