Often when we are
tempted, particularly when we are confronted over and over with the same
temptation, we fall into self-condemnation, when, in fact, we may not have
sinned at all but have confused the temptation with the submission to the
temptation.
James 1:14-15
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and
enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin,
when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
(KJV)
All are tempted.
Being tempted is not sin, as long as we do not allow it to entice us into
sin.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he
shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them
that love him.
(KJV)
Endure temptation .
Temptation is not a sin, it is when we fail to endure it, that we sin . We
must not give in to temptation, when we are tempted we must reject those
thoughts and when we do not resist and we begin to dwell on or act upon
them, then we begin to sin.
1 Cor 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God
is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are
able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye
may be able to bear it.
(KJV)
All temptation
however powerful will not be more than we can handle, for our Lord has made
a way for us to endure the temptation that may come our way. He enables us
to endure through his Grace, God's enabling Grace through the sacrifice of
His son Jesus Christ.
