Rhyming
with 'moon' the lune is an American
form of poetry similar to the haiku. Unlike the haiku the lune
consists of thirteen syllables on three lines.
The protocol of the thirteen syllables are arranged in 5/3/5, five
syllables in the first line, three syllables in the second, and five in
the third.
The concept of the ‘American Lune’ as an art form originated
from the creativity and experimenting of poet Robert Kelly.

~~~~~~~
Down
low the sun dims,
silhouettes,
all within the path
~~~~~~~
The
lone grass blade dies,
amid all,
together alone.
~~~~~~~
Freedom's
sound released,
bell proclaimed,
sacrifice the cost.
~~~~~~~
Jack's
Jill tripped his foot,
revenging,
Jack grabbed Jill's shoe lace.
~~~~~~~
Love
sweet Love alone,
only you,
with to share my life.
~~~~~~~
Lonely
is alone,
when only,
No one cares for me
~~~~~~~
Luck
lasts 'till luck rests,
Lady Luck,
superstitious duck.
~~~~~~~
Need not rhyme in time,
not make sense,
silly poetry
