Trivia - Articles of Association

- Peyton Randolph Was the first President, of the First Continental Congress that drafted the Articles of Association.
- The Articles of Association were dated October 20, 1774 and were the foundations leading to the Declaration of Independence.
- The Articles of Association referred to the collective colonies as "America" all but once, and the people as 'American Subjects'.
- The Articles were calculated to not offend the King but blame the lower British officials alleging the current system was: "evidently calculated for enslaving these colonies, and, with them, the British Empire."
